17th International Conference on Open Source Systems (OSS 2021)
The 17th International Conference on Open Source Systems (OSS) aims at providing an international forum where a diverse community of professionals from academia, industry, and the public sector, and diverse FLOSS initiatives can come together to share research findings and practical experiences. The conference is also a forum to provide information and education to practitioners, identify directions for further research, and to be an ongoing platform for technology transfer, no matter which form of FLOSS is being pursued.
OSS will take place online on the 12th of May, 2021. The conference will be streamed live via Zoom webinar

|In this edition, the best papers of the conference will be invited to be included in the Special Issue on Science of Computer Programming, published by Elsevier|
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation, OSS 2021 will be fully online
OSS was originally scheduled to take place in Lahti in May 2021. However, the conference will be now organized in online format, because of safety reasons and travel restrictions.
By going fully online, we are able to significantly reduce the conference organization costs and expand our community, by offering free attendance to most participants.
To cover the remaining costs of technical setup and the publication of proceedings, we collect a fee from authors of accepted papers. See “Registration” page for more info.
